Aliesha's Best Gateway
A JDBC Gateway
Aliesha's Best Gateway allows tables from any standard JDBC data source to look like a Sybase ASE remote table. As you can imagine, this is very powerful. Consider:
- Cross vendor tables can be joined (for example, Sybase and MySQL)
- Cross vendor migration is simple (for example, from Microsoft SQL Server to Oracle)
- Non RDBMS data can easily be accessed with a standard, networked SQL interface
- A text file can be written to as a SQL table
- Data Files could be read
- Non RDBMS data can easily be migrated to an RDBMS (for example, from Access/Excel to Sybase)
- LDAP can be accessed as a SQL table (for example, login information like name can be joined for standard SQL reports)
Aliesha's Best Gateway is currently free. It is provided as is.

The support plan includes:
- 48 hour response to reported bugs
- reported bugs will be fixed with priority
- allows access to bug fixes
- allows access to new versions/upgrades
- enhancement requests will be seriously considered
- consulting support will be provided at 5% discount for projects using server covered by support plan
Support Plan rates are priced in Server-Years. In other words, 3 servers supported for 2 years is 6 server-years. "Server" refers to the Aliesha's Best Gateway server process/daemon. The following table outlines the support plan options:
